【英語多読実践記】今日のおすすめ電子絵本～「Things that Sting」人を刺す動植物

今回は絵本＋図鑑＝実用書のような1冊です。

刺された時の対処法も載ってた。

今日は絵本図鑑の1冊です。

なかなか役立つ情報も書かれているので是非読んでみて。

今日紹介するのはこちら！

「Things that Sting」です。

『刺す』動植物について学べる1冊ですよ。

◆What's this book about?

This book is all about living things that can sting.

In it you will find out how and why

some creatures and plants sting

and what to do if you stung.

写真付でわかりやすい説明で教えてくれるよ！

◆Talk together

Discass being stung and what it feels like.

Look at the cover and ask if children know what the creature shown is.

Ask them to find the contents page.

Does the creature apprar there?

読み聞かせしているつもりで

自分自身に問いながら本を読み進めていきます（＾＾；）

◆Read the book

W: Word recognation （単語認識）

C:Language comprehension（言語理解）

●本を読む時に、意識しながら読むといいポイント！

①W：On page 8 ask,

「What do you think the word "deceiving"means?」

②C：On page 9 ask,

「What other parts of the bee could given a label?」

「Why is a labelled diagram usual an information book?」

③W：On page 10 and 11 discass the vowel sound 'ee' in 'sea' 'weak' 'jellyfish' and 'secret',Ask 

「What  words on these pages have the vowels 'ea' but have the vowel sound 'ae'?」

'weapon and thread'

④C：On pageb 12 look and read together the newspaper headlines.

Ask 「Why are the lettera all in captitals?」

「Why do newspapers have stories about jellyfish?」

⑤C：On the page 19 ask,

「Why might the scorpion hunt at night?」

⑥C：On the page 23 discuss the table and talk about other remedies for stings,e.g. dock leaves for nettle stings:ointments,creams and sprays for bee stings,etc.

先回りして疑問や注目ポイントを持つことで

読書する時の読解力がアップしますよね（＾＾）

どういった時に

どんなふうに「刺してくるのか」が

書かれています。

Sting-ray・・・・って名前にもう「sting 」入ってる！！

というよりも「刺すエイ」ってわかりやすい名前しておるっ

◆What to do if you get a sting

登場する「刺す」動植物に刺された場合の対処法も書かれています。

応急処置的なことですけど。

●蜂に刺されたら

刺された傷口から毒を指の爪を使ってかきだす。

そして刺された部分を氷で冷やす。

●クラゲに刺されたら

刺された患部を氷でひやし、包帯で包む。

●エイに刺されたら

熱いお湯に浸す（!?）⇐私的にびっくりしました。そうなの!?って

●イラクサに刺されたら

擦っちゃダメ！

水中を走る⇒とにかく陸に上がり応急処置

●サソリに刺されたら

患部に氷をのせ、冷やしましょう。

これらの処置の後

大至急病院に走りましょう！

刺す動植物は「毒」を注入してくる奴多いんで

必ず医師に診てもらいましょう。
