動物で一番大きな音を出すのは何の動物だと思いますか？

答えは意外な動物でした！

毎日、英語の本を読んではいますが

同じ本を何度も読んだりしているので

実践記録が滞ってしまっている私です（＾＾；）

「絵本をどう読むのか？」大人になって絵本の読み方を知りました。

●Talk (Think) about the book

Talk about the title of the book and the information on the back cover.
Look at some of the pictures together. Can your child think of some very loud noises and some very quiet noises?
Look at the words "decibels" and "measured" on page 3. Help your child to read these words and talk about their meaning. Talk about how other things are measured.

英語の発音・音に注意しましょう☆

絵本を読み重ねていくうちに

英単語の音の構成がだんだんわかってきますよ。

Your child should be able to read most of the words in this book by saying the letter sounds then blending them together,e.g. b-r-ea-k become "break".

Ask your child to practise their phonic skills by readeing these words:

baby
deaf
break
vibrate
decibel
measure

◎Common exeption words

Common exeption words (sometimes called Tricky words)

have letters which do not sound as your child might expect . e.g. the letters 'eo' in 'people' make the /ee /sound as in 'sleep'.

Encourage your child to read these words by saying and blending the letters sounds as much as they can,then help them with the tricky part if needed.

◆During Reading

Enkourage your child to read at their own pace,

pointing under each word if it helps.

If your child gets stuck on a word,prompt them to say the letter sounds then blend them together to make the word e.g. d-e-c-i-b-e-l-s become 'decibels'.
If your child is still atruggling with the word,read the word to them to move on quickly with the book.
